It was a quiet day. I think she napped for the better part of it, as I vaguely remember she wasn’t feeling well. I’m hoping, for next year, I will remember to look into natural egg dying before the last minute. I had hoped she would be able to do the dying this year, after a huge mess, she just sat in my lap and watched me do it. Maybe next year I won’t quite fill up her basket with just candy. After receiving another basket from her Nana and one from her dad, we were seriously overwhelmed with candy. I wasn’t exactly complaining.
This afternoon, while sorting through six months of pictures, I am beyond happy that I take pictures of everything. So much of this year was spent in a haze. It felt good to see that we actually did do fun things during that time. Take pictures. Take pictures of everything. Its doesn’t matter how good or bad the pictures are, just take them. We all need snapshots to jog our memories from time to time.
